Kym currently lives, works and teaches across Melbourne and Brisbane, Australia.

Over her music career, Kym has performed solo and within bands (as vocalist, pianist, keyboardist, and percussionist), been an in-house arranger, accompanist and assistant director of choirs, composed and staged her own song cycle Thanks for Playing, music directed performances, and accompanied musicals, solo performances, exams and auditions.

As a music teacher and coach, she has taught piano, voice, drums, music history and theory to over 200 students from 4-70+ years old, including students with special needs and limited English capacity.

While based in Europe, she played keyboard for a production of Songs for a New World, was the pianist for industry open mic nights in both Berlin and Paris, coached a Broadway-based performer in the performance of Kym’s original song, and was pianist for a complete RENT workshop. She also spent her time collaborating with various Europe-based musicians in studio, alongside completing the Summer Program for Electronic Music Production and Audio Engineering (dBs Berlin) in the infamous Funkhaus - one of the largest multi-studio complexes in the world.

She is Co-Founder and Co-Director of Audition Vocal Toolbox, an iOS app dedicated to providing accessible warm up tools for all voice users.
